WHY ARE SEROTONIN LEVELS INCREASED DURING MUSIC OR ACTING CLASSES...
So why are Serotonin levels increased during music and acting classes?
First of all Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that has a feel good chemical that enhances your mood. During a class, with vibrations from musical beats, this will increase the frequency of cell to cell messages. The message is sent along the axon via the terminal branches where the Serotonin is released. With these music beats or good vibrations, your brain will process this as something that will increase your happiness state.
